Quicken helps to give you a financial snapshot of all of your bank accounts, credit cards, investments, and property in one place. We can also configure Quicken to manage the financials of any rental properties that you may own. We also assist with setting up QuickBooks to manage your finances, and we can help you decide which program suits your individual needs.

Download Financial Transactions
We will utilize Quicken to track your investments, bank accounts, credit card accounts, etc.
We will show you how to download your banking, credit card, and investment transactions directly into Quicken.
We will show you how to assign those transactions into spending categories, and how to use Quicken to make the majority of those category assignments happen automatically upon download.
Set Up a Budget
We will assist you in setting up a budget profile to match your spending to a budget.
Reports, Reports, Reports!!!
We will set up report templates to help you see your information in a way that is meaningful TO YOU.
We can also set up report templates for you to give to your tax accountant and your financial planner.
Whether you have been using Quicken for years, or are a new user, we can help you get the most out of Quicken. We have experience setting up Quicken and training you to manage:
Cash Flow – We will set up Quicken to track and categorize your spending from bank and credit card accounts.
Investments – We will set up Quicken to track brokerage, retirement, stock options, and employee stock purchase programs (ESPP) accounts.
Property – We will set up Quicken to track your home mortgage, and also track income and expenses for any rental property you may own.
Small Business – We will set up Quicken to track income and expenses from sole proprietor small business (Schedule C). We will also set up invoicing and time tracking, all within Quicken.
We can help you clean up your existing Quicken data, and go over "best practices" with you to help you avoid problems in the future. We also have tools that allow us to import older transactions into Quicken, using electronic or paper bank or credit card statements. We can even merge two Quicken files into one, if need be, through a combination of software tools and good, old fashioned know-how.
Medical Expense and Reimbursement Tracking
Jakubson Financial Organizers will organize your medical expenses, and match those expenses with insurance explanations of benefits to verify that proper reimbursements have occurred.
We will organize all medical expenses by family member and service provider.
We will match expenses to insurance company explanations of benefits, and identify any overdue reimbursements.
We can generate a report of taxable medical expenses to help you at tax time.
Optionally, we will set you up with Quicken Medical Expense Manager software to enable you to update this information on your own.
